Method 4- Updating Printing Driver

When the above methods are not working, it must be due to an outdated driver or a corrupt driver. Update the latest version of the driver. Method 6- Check the Print Spooler

The print spooler manages the print jobs that are sent to printer. If it is not working properly, then try to clear and reset the spooler by the given steps:

1. Press Win+R to open the dialog box.
2. Type:

services.msc, and hit enter.

3. Click on Print Spooler and right-click on it, and choose Stop.
4. Open file explorer in the computer and search:

C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS. 

5. Delete all the file from the folder.
6. Then, go back to Services and then right-click on Print Spooler, and choose Start.

Method 7- Change the NetBIOS Port

1. Open devices and printer:
2. Press Win+R to run a command and type “Control Printers”, and then hit enter.
3. Select your printer:

2. Right-click on it
3. And click on Printer Properties
4. Change the port:

1. To change it, go to the Ports lab.
2. Choose Add Port and select Standard TCP/IP port
3. Click on New Port
4. Follow the instruction flashing on screen.
5. Complete the instructions and ensure to select the new port for your printer.
6. Remove the old port:

1. If you do not need the old port, NetBIOS, you can remove it. 
2. Click on the port you want to delete and choose “Delete Port”.
